Our White Inheritance by Margaret Wozniak

Our April 28 Sunday service is entitled "Our White Inheritance," led by Margaret Wozniak.

The prejudices that our white ancestors imposed upon the Black, Native, Latino, and Asian residents of our country resulted in significant advantages to the white race. What are these advantages? What actions caused them? Do we even realize we have them? These are just some of the intriguing questions Margaret will discuss. Ms. Wozniak started her career as an elementary teacher in Big Rapids Michigan, then went back to school when her kids got older, and became a dean’s secretary at Ferris State for eighteen years. For her talk, Margaret has studied sources recommended by the UU subgroup “Black Lives of UU.”
