Sky Chaney and Dawa Norbu will present their new movie plus photographs of the remote region of Sama, high in the Himalayas of Nepal. Participants will learn about Tibetan Buddhist culture, and the challenges these hardy mountain people are facing during the worldwide pandemic.

Sky Chaney is the Executive Director of Village Light, a non-profit organization that delivers basic aid to mountain people in the Himalayas of Nepal. He presented at UU several years ago and he is back to tell us more about the mountain people and his project to assist them in meeting the challenges of their lives.
Dawa Norbu Lama is the Vice President of Village Light. He has lived his life in the high altitude valley of Sama, in the shadow of Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world. He is here with us to share about his life and the work he is doing to provide food to Sama during the COVID pandemic.
